Elaine’s story
A lifelong path toward natural health.
Elaine Lilling has pursued three passions throughout her life: natural health, art, and dance.
Her interest in natural health and the life sciences began early. After testing into advanced-placement classes in middle and high school, she had opportunities to take additional biology and chemistry courses. She entered college planning to become a medical professional, but a tour of a local medical college during her second year changed her direction. She found little emphasis on natural health, preventive care, or nutrition and realized that the program did not align with the kind of work she hoped to pursue.
Elaine turned to another of her passions and completed college as an art major. Soon afterward, she married and, over the years, raised seven children. Alongside her work as a professional artist and dance teacher, she continued studying natural health through classes, seminars, and extensive reading.
After her children were grown, Elaine returned to school for several years to realize her long-held dream of becoming a traditional naturopath and homeopath. She earned the CHHP, CTN, and CNHP credentials through Trinity School of Natural Health and the P.Hom. credential through the Academy for Practical Homeopathy.
